from scoliosis, can i have the scar covered? or will it not take ink? i have 10 already i just want the scar covered.

yes, you can have a tattoo over a scar but you should be careful about the tattoo artist you chose. scarred skin is not the same as normal skin and is more difficult to tattoo. if you chose someone who is not experienced enough it can really look bad and then all of that would have been for nothing.

I would consult with the shop you're going to.
While it's possible to tattoo over scars, it depends on the scar and the person it's on. Sometimes when your tattoo is partially covering a scar and partially not, you can see a big difference where the scar is. Sometimes tattooing over a scar can actually create more scar tissue (in a bad way) and not look so nice. Some look fine, but don't hold ink as well. It's sort of hit-or-miss, so take into account your previous tattoo experiences and the way your body reacts to scarring, etc. and then see what the tattoo artist has to say.

WELL YOU HAVE TO CHECK HOW BIG IS THE SCAR ANT IS IT LIGHT OR IT SHOWS ALOT? IF IT IS LIGHT THEN YEA U CAN COVER IT!!!

I think you need to consult with cosmetic surgeon. You may need dermal transplant...maybe they could do laser...
