SLOW COOKER PORK ROAST
1 loin cut pork roast
Salt, pepper
Worcestershire sauce
Hunts Bar-B-Que sauce
Water
If roast is very thick, cut deep gashes 1 inch apart for better flavor. Salt and pepper roast. Sprinkle generously with Worcestershire - be sure to put some in slits. Pour Bar-B-Que sauce completely over roast putting into slits also. Place 2 tablespoons of water in bottom of cooker to prevent sticking. Cook on high 4-8 hours. Pull meat off bone into small pieces, discarding fat and bone. Simmer 20 minutes or more in sauce. This is delicious on buns or plate with vegetables.

I have a simple, delicious recipe for shredded pork barbecue. I use boneless country style ribs and Sweet Baby Ray's Honey BBQ sauce. Pour some sauce in bottom of slow cooker. Sprinkle ribs with LIGHT salt, pepper and garlic powder (I go heavy on that stuff!). Pour more sauce on top to cover. Cook on low approx. 5 hours, or until ribs pull apart easily using two forks to shred. Then add a little more sauce while pork is still hot.
I serve them in warmed soft tortilla shells with shredded cheddar. Great with homemade mac and cheese and a green vege. Mmmmm. Nice cool weather comfort food!

mix some brown sugar, salt & pepper, cumin, garlic & onion powder, paprika, pinch of cayene pepper & oregano. with this rubb some nice meaty ribs, put them meat side up in the slow cooker add 1/4 cup of beer or white wine then let it cook for aobut 6-8 hours until tender then add your favorite BBW sauce mix with some of the liquid in the pot and pour it in covering all the ribs well, cook like this for 1 hr. more until falling of the bone and now I'm hungry for some ribs...

Put chuck roast in with campbells french onion soup, or lipton onion soup. Add water until meat is covered. Cook on low heat overnight. The longer you cook it the better. Cook the meat for a few hours, and then add quartered potatoes, carrots and onions. Cook until everything is tender.

1 t. ground ginger
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 T. sugar
1 clove garlic, crushed
Cut steak into 1/8” thick slices. Combine remaining ingredients in small bowl. Place meat in crock pot. Pour sauce over meat. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Serve over rice.

Italian Style Meat & Mushroom Sauce
2 pounds ground beef, browned (or 1 beef, 1 pork sausage)
1 1/2 T. Italian seasoning
4 to 6 garlic cloves, minced
2 onions, chopped
2 sm. cans sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped parsley
3 cans (8 oz. ea.) tomato sauce
1 cup dry red wine
2 to 3 t. salt
Combine all ingredients in crock pot; stir well. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour, then on low 8 to 12 hours.

Marinated BBQ Brisket
4 to 5 pound fresh beef brisket
1/2 t. garlic salt
2 t. unseasoned meat tenderizer
1/4 cup liquid smoke
1/2 t. celery salt
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/2 t. seasoned salt
1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce
Place brisket on a large piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Sprinkle tenderizer and seasonings on both sides of meat. Pour liquid smoke and Worcestershire sauce over top. Cover and marinate in refrigerator 6 to 10 hours or overnight. Place foil-wrapped brisket in slow cooker (cut in half, if necessary, to fit easily). Cover and cook on low 10 to 12 hours. Serve with barbecue sauce.

Chunky Chili
1 pound lean ground beef
1 bay leaf
1 small onion, chopped
1 t. Worcestershire sauce
1 t. salt
2 cans (8 oz. ea.) tomato sauce
2 t. chili powder
2 cans (15 oz. ea.) kidney beans
Brown the ground beef in a skillet. Drain the kidney beans. In the crock pot, combine the beef with remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on high for 2 to 3 hours. Be sure to remove bay leaf before serving. This is a very thick chili. Add 1 cup of water to make a thinner chili. Serve with rice or corn chips and cheese.
