I have eaten horse. Used to buy ground horse meat for my dog, was pretty tasy just very lean.

Joanne, the Bible does not prohibit eating horse.

Absolutely!
We can't condemn other cultures and their food preferences. If it means preserving the human race.. bring on the roasted horse, sauteed dog, cat fricasee, or pasta with slow cooked rat.
We can't Europeanize the world!

I have had horse meat before, in place of beef, and it didn't agree with me but then it wasn't ground, either, so maybe that makes the difference. I couldn't detect that it wasn't beef--they told me it was horse when they served it. (Many years later, in another country, I tried dog and it tasted like pork to me.)

Please grind mine up.

Sounds good as "taco meat" or put it into a grilled burger.

Ground meat = good. Not interested in eating horse steak, though.

I would like to try it but I would also like to try dog and cat. I would prefer someone else to prepare it while I watched and learned.
