Hey, i have a question. Ok so i'm a sophmore in high school. I don't know if i should ask this guy out that i like, we don't really know each other but we sit at the same lunch table and have the same study hall together. I really like him, but i don't know what to say to him! And i'm nervous of what he is going to say. What should i say?
Another problem i have, is my friend thinks he is cute and flirts with him. I'm kind of shy in school and i dont know how to flirt without looking stupid. I'm afraid he likes her, and won't want to go out with me.
Please everyone help me.
I dont know his phone number or anything so i cant call him and ask him if he wants to hang out. Blah idk. Im even too nervous to ask him for his number.
Help!!!!<3

During study hall casually suggest that you should all hang out: you, your friend, and this guy. Whatever happens, happens.Try to get his screen name or .

In situations like this , sometimes, the best approach is the direct one.First , talk to your girl friend about her intentions. If she likes him and he likes her , then walk away with your head up high. But if she really does not want him and is just playing ,let her know that you like him and would like to try for a romance with him. This way you avoid any problems between the both of you.Next, since you have the same study hall and sit at the same lunch table, one afternoon; sit down next to him and simply say :hi and introduce your self.He will have to respond to you and the conversation can begin from there and you will get to know each other and exchange information.Believe me when I say it works in breaking the ice.Whether you guys start dating is another matter.

Okay girl, here we go. Now most school's do have records and/or student directories that can help you with the phone number problem. But, honestly, the best way to talk isn't over the phone or by email (if you have it or not!). The first step is talking to him; introduction, exchange names and hobbies and be calm and collect! One thing that we guys know is that we have a problems being around girls who act strange (by strange i mean nervous!)

The next step is to continue talking to him at school and by email (if you are going to talk to him a lot, don't use the phone just yet) If you don't have any contact info of him exchange them with each other. And remember patience; it's not going to be like a romance comedy where you will live 'happily ever after' after two hours!!!

On things to say, just talk about yourself and ask him the same questions (I have two dogs. How about you? etc)

As for the flirting friends of yours, don't result to their level. I know about several dozen girls at my school who will practically strip to get noticed. All they are doing is trying to be popular so that every boy in the school will love to be with them and all the girls want TO BE them. Be yourself and act like yourself, that's all it takes. Guys like it when a girl is herself rather than some bimbo barbie wan-a-bie!!

Let me know if this helps! Good luck girl!!!
