My son's two bottom teeth are coming in, and one is crooked. The base of the tooth can be seen as a whiteness inside the gum, like it's poking out the bottom. He hasn't been especially cranky, but could it be painful?

Slight pain----tylenol should take care of the discomfort---rub the gums with a facecloth that has been in the freezer---the teeth will erupt eventually.....untill then keep being a great Mom.......

If he isn't cranky Don't worry about it.

It's strange none of my children had teething pain etc.... The teeth just showed up! The boys I didn't even know were teething. Their first teeth just showed up one day.

Now my all of my grandchildren have had long drawn out teeth pain and crankiness.

Be glad he isn't cranky!

At 7 months old the bottom teeth are never like picket fences, don't worry about this now.
