Above all, guys want to know that you respect yourself. If you're putting it about like it's a good way of making friends, then chances are you're insecure and unhappy. A girl who feels she is valuable, and knows she deserves to be loved for who she is may have chosen to have sex with a couple of people, but won't have had more sex than google.

Yes, we care. Women care also, so don't claim they don't. All of my partners have eiethr asked or hinted around.
My wife was a virgin, but I was not. I was up front with her as to how many.
How many is too many depends on each individuals view point.
In an ideal world, 1 would be all anyone would have all be virgins until we were married. In reality, I lasted until I was 24 years and 9 months.
For me, double digits is too many. I guess I would take it on a case-by-case basis if it were more than that and I were still single, but I am married now anyway.

Well in a female but i do care as I dont really want to be with someone who has been with loads of sexual partners. I have only been with the 1 guy and we are gettin married next year, whereas my fiance has been with 2 partners including me. This can cause us problems sometimes as there are times that i worry she is better than me in bed but to cheer myself up i just think that before she was with my fiance she had slept with 5 different partners an at the time she was only 15 years old, Thats not good, so before we did anything he got checked out but my fiance says that i would always prefer a girl that has only been with one guy an thats him. Which is the case with me......... ;-)

I could care less nor would I ask her. But you better believe I would insist on a HIV test before getting married regardless of the number.
For the 2nd part of your question: Too many is when the number increases after being in a relationship begins.

Only to the extent they are similar to you.
ie if a guy has had a dry decade as was shy and not done much.
Hes not going to want somone whos been ther, done that and now wants kids when he has not done the bonk on the golf course , on a plane etc and the girl is bored of all that as done everything,
But if the guy has been and done all that then may want to settle down and have kids.
Shilst Mr shy wants somone how wants to go on holday and make out in public and catch up on what he missed out on.
Show on the other foot would you wan to date soone who has done so much they find it boring

Not really she clearly likes sex so what the problem since when does respect come into it am I to assume women don't like sex because that is very very untrue.
i think one of the main reasons women end up having rubbish sex lives is because they never get the chance to fully explore themselves without others judging them.
If a woman sleeps with me it's probably because she either likes me as a person or finds me physically attractive so I don't see how their self respect is called into question in fact I would say it is a strength in character to be able to get what you want and to ignore the petty views of others.

I care ! A girl who's been with too many blokes is not better than a whore. She has not a iota of self-respect.
Same goes for men, mind you.
Only have sex if you hope to have a long lasting relationship.
Sex for pleasure is F...king, scr...wing, hum...ping but definitely NOT loving !
I can tell you for sure, if a girl tells she had x many lovers, sure as hell she'll go scr...w behind her boyfriend's back.

I don't mind how many sexual partners she's had. The number of children she's had might be more relevant.
It also matters a lot to me that I can give her an orgasm using cunnilingus or what ever.

No. So long as there are no STD's carried into the relationship. A girl who has had many sexual partners has got herself together nothing to prove and knows what she wants.

Unfortunatly... YES! It is just like how much milage a used car has, and how many owners.
Should it reflect back to you? No. But with all these STDs around, it is important to know where you've been!
YOU should expect the very same from him!
