Don't want to point the finger at any one group in R&S, but wow. I just asked a question and it never ceases to amaze me how the answers in no way even hint at answering my question. Isn't it frustrating?

This is of question and I wonder why at times why I even try. I just answered several questions and my answer did not show up with the others. I don't really care. But I also wonder about those that give you so much more information than necessary. I read but get bored with it all.

All the time. There's always people who don''t read, and don't answer accordingly. I even had to close some questions without any right answer, because no one took the time to read what I was asking. My latest questions is a good example of this, most people who answered only read the first part of question, not what I was really asking. You get used to it, after being here for some time. :)

I asked a question about this, a month ago, have a look, if you wish:

Good luck!! :)

Yes, however there are ways you can answer a question and you would need to think about the answer to realize it is an answer.

For example:

Q:Do I look good in this white shirt?

A: You shouldn't wear white after Labor Day.

If you think about the answer it is indicating you might look good or bad but the fact you are wearing it after Labor Day makes it lean to the bad side.

I don't really think this question belongs in R&S.How is that God's fault?

If people take the time to read a question, isn't it worth it to give them 2 points just for that effort it took to read it. The points given for best answer is what really counts, and just because it says "best answer" certainly doesn't mean it's the (f)actual best answer. That's what's truly frustrating.

It buggs me when when people don't read the details and post an answer to the sarcastic question made to get attention instead of the real question written in the details.

Yes it is frustrating :)

I haven't noticed any one group doing it more than any other. But - it does happen often.

Sometimes - if they allow themselves to be e-mailed - I write them and ask, "Did you even READ my question?" I've only had a couple of answers - and both times they apologized for "assuming."

HI Linz,
YES, there are a whole BUNCH of those people who don't even read the question at all. They just "COPY and PASTE" the same answer to every question many times. I hope you have a wonderful evening.
Thanks,
Eds

too many with their agenda in the way. Most times I thumb those answers down.
I've seen too many can NOT answer a question on it's face without adding their own little spin on it, or making exceptions to it.

It IS frustrating.

Maybe a few times. But my real problem is the one you just mentioned: I have a bad habit of not reading the 'additional details' sections of questions, and answering anyway. Oh, the laughs I have - courtesy of me - sometimes!

Oh, well.... :)

My lady, men only process 80% of the information. If I missed anything, it was 20% left on the table...
