You don't say how old you are, but the way you've worded your question suggests you are a teen. So, whether she truly loves you or just really likes you doesn't really matter. It is a good sign that she told her parents, it means she's ok with them knowing. It probably means she thinks they'll like you. If she thought they wouldn't, she wouldn't tell them.

Love is more than that, but she is admitting that she is truly comfortable being with you. It takes a lot to win over the respect of parents. Some people are very shy, and it's difficult to cope with these new feelings she has for you. Cheer up man this is one small step to appreciating a meaningful relationship.

A true gentleman would ask the parents permission before courting a young lady.
I never did. I never was much of a gentleman.
But, I would say, you are off to a good start. Doesn't take much to lose trust from those parents though.

just cuz she told her parents doesn't mean she loves you, ever think that she just didnt feel like hiding it? i mean her feelings have probably grown too and though it was time for the parents to know

It could simply mean that she wanted to let her parents know what she's doing. If you want to know how she really feels just ask her.
