Just wondering how many americans actually like hispanics (legal or illegal) and why?

i want to know how many of you actually like hispanics and why... if you dont like them or have something stupid to say then dont write anything. i am 25 and have grew up with mexicans. i am married to a mexican and yes he is illegal we are working on his papers. i just dont understand why every one thinks they are such bad ppl. for the most part no one trys to befriend them to see why they are here or what thier life is like. its a simple question why do you like mexicans?

to let everone know i am an american i was born and raised here by a white family. i am not illegal.

Legal - yes, I like them fine. They are wonderful people.
Illegal - I extremely dislike them. Why? Because they are ignoring the laws of my land....stealing benefits and opportunities from the poor and other immigrants. They also seem proud that they are doing just that. They are contemptuous of our country, our way of life and our people. Seriously, what's to like? I'm contemptuous of them. Sorry...but that's the truth. I can't even imagine anyone marrying someone who is dishonest and engaging in criminal activity, but even the mafia gets married...go figure.

careful, now! we don't choose info and figures around here! basically say something nasty; grant some excuse for those knowingly deceptive individuals to apply the "R" notice. while info are quoted, the image is extraordinarily clean. The regulation and order that’ve made us the richest united states of america on earth, that regulation and order is being trampled by way of lawless habit. And the "regulation" looks any opposite direction. i do no longer think of it is one occasion or the different. No money in that. yet there’s the two money and threats between drug cartels. the shown fact that a great united states of america - great by way of fact of a stable beginning place on regulation - is obviously being rotted out by way of the two disdain for regulation or little seen its fee does not harm extremely so badly if it weren't our living house. people who enter illegally, by way of definition, have not have been given any fee for regulation. As their numbers skyrocket, people who know regulation will become the minority. while that takes place, the country took over would be become the only they left – jobless, lawless, a place of people prepared to flee. it kind of feels the country whose technique failed may well be discovering from the only that succeeded. rather, the lawless will ruin them the two.

I think that people are people. There are lots of whites & hispanics I like, and, some of both that I don't, also.....

What I do like about Mexican culture: I love the food, the music, the celebrations, the unity of siblings, and, the relaxed spirit of Mexico. The people are generally accepting and kind. The mothers doting upon the children. I have lived in Mexico, and, aspire to return at some point.

What I don't like: Women are not viewed as equals (generally), they are sometimes disrespectful of children (cuo-cuoy), and, tend to treat women as sex objects. I don't like how it is "great" for a man to drink, but, horrible for a woman to. Also, they let their children be without controls too young, too early, and, too often.

I am a misanthrope. I dislike people, in general. I don't make exceptions for any group of people just for having some physical feature or arbitrary identity in common. Individuals, once I get to know them, I can like, but any demographic pie slice out of the general population is prettymuch meaningless to me. I apologize if my not being racist offends you.

As far as the hispanics I have gotten to know, none have left me with particularly negative impressions, and some, I've even liked. They're people. There are nice ones, anoying ones, good ones and bad ones.

We siply have Laws they are not being inforced, it is hurting this Nation, and some people dont care. there are ways to come here legally. Can you tell me what is wrong with doing that. IS there some speacial reason this Law shuold be broken and other Laws enforced. Would you say that we can support every human in the world Here, cause if not then exactly how much do we take. When do you shut the door, do you save your husband then shut the door on a new family. I know you dont beleive we can support the world so you tell Us when is enough really enough. do you need to see people in the streets dieing of starvation before you agree with us or do we start now.


and to JUSTO: I be's white, and the Chick I think is really Hot is Total Mexican, and she cant speak a lick of english. But her friends and Family dont want her hangin with Whitey. I like people of all races. This has nothing at all to do with race. It has to do with "illegals" (including your husband). No one is saying they are bad people; they are just people who have done a bad thing. If your children were hungry & you stole a loaf of bread... I wouldn't think you were bad, but I would think you did a bad thing & would expect you to be punished. Crossing the border illegally is a bad thing. What makes it worse is that these same people have the nerve to protest in our country for benefits they should be fighting for in their own countries. They really have the nerve to wonder why American citizens feel this way, after they wave their Mexican flags on our land, while at the same time disrespecting ole Glory while protesting for rights they don't deserve. How do you expect us to feel about these people. Pro-illegals expect us to have an open mind & accept what illegals do, but they don't have an open mind in understanding why American citizens think the way we do.

The word illegal doesn't equate with hispanics. Illegals come from anywhere.
Being hispanic has nothing to do with it.

Immigrants from Mexico are one reason why this is a great country. They bring a strong work ethic and family values.

The problem is the massive number of people who don't speak the language and strain the public services. We allow more legal immigration than all other countries combined, and rightly so. But, there is a limit to the number of people we can assimilate each year. That number has to low enough that all immigrants become Americans, instead of having pockets of Mexico here in America.

I like a lot of hispanics, including my two nephews and brother in law.

I'm against illegal immigration because it ruins our schools with above budgeted attendance and too many in a difficult to teach ESL demographic at once, not because I am allergic to the individuals.

Im hispanic (not mexican) and i have no problem with anyone LEGAL. It is the illegals i have a problem with.
