I am wanting to train to be a pilot and I want to know how much it would cost me to train. I know that it's up in the hundreds but can anyone tell me how much and where in the South West Virginia are I could do this at?

Contact the local airport for the names of the pilot training schools they have. (If they have any.)
I think it is first getting a license to fly small craft, next for bigger planes and then for each different kind of plane, but that is just a vague memory.

You can also contact an airline, commercial freight or passengers, and ask. They might have a training grant for people willing to sign on with them, they will surely know what licenses you need.
And those will be the same for men and women.

I have only done one half an hour of flying but I know I would want to fly more if I could afford it.

Go for it, do not give up!
