I would like you to explain this. This is a true story (believe or not):
When I was about 5 years old, my brother, "Bryan", had Neuroblastoma and at this time he was 8 years old and had had it for about 4 years. While my dad stayed with me and my other 2 brothers at home, my mom stayed with Bryan at the hospital.
One night, Bryan woke up my mom at 4 o'clock in the morning saying "mom, Grandpa wants to talk to you". My mom tried to ignore Bryan for she was tired and knew that Bryan was on these kinds of drugs that made him illusional and besides that, my grandpa was dead. When my mom woke up in the morning Bryan ran up to her with a smile. "Grandpa told me to give this to you," he said holding up a sticker. My mom grabbed the sticker and looked at it. It said "I Believe In Me, POPS"(pops was my grandfathers nickname). My mom asked him where he got it and he kept saying from pop so my mom asked every nurse on the floor if any of them gave Bryan that sticker. They all

Now I am 16 years old, had been an atheist for 2 years, and after my mom told me that story, my whole idea of life turned around.
I hope this story also maybe changes your point of view in someway about the idea of their being after-life. But please tell me anyway that my brother could of or someway got that sticker.

Just to point out a few things:
1.) I still have the sticker.
2.) He put "I Believe In Me" on the sticker for he had known Bryan was depressed and was going through a tough time and thought that Bryan would wear it.

Amen,
Don't let people like footprints get to you, they say that they have no explanation, but look at what he said, that "no explanation will lead him to believe in God" These are the remarks of a spiritually dead person, just look at the remarks of those who do not believe, these Atheist "regulars" that come in here day after day attacking the belief and faith, the reason for this is that they do believe, but do not want to, and nor will they admit to this, so they come in here day after day trying to convince themselve by trying to convince others that God does not exist so that they will feel better about life, but the truth is , they can't, they live miserable lives, and they will not admit to that either, pray for them, pray for them all.
Your testamony is fantastic.

People have living and dying for hundreds of thousands of years - much longer than any religion has been around in the world, so even though your whole story of an afterlife is interesting, it does not raise anything new, sorry.
I should point out, however, that with your story - indeed all stories about ghosts - has no one ever taken into consideration that the fact that there are ghosts (if you believe in them) be some proof that there is no such thing as a heaven or hell?
I say this only because current christian "logic" seems to state that people who die can only go to one of the two places. If ghosts exist, then wouldn't they be a stick in any divine powers' plans?
The part about your sticker - well, that is simple to explain from a sceptics view point. He could have gotten it from someone during one time in the hospital, found it on the ground one day, stolen it from a shop - all endless.
Just because your brother could tell you one thing about whee it came from, does not necessarily mean it is true. And you should know that children do lie a lot so they will not get in trouble for a lot of things. What is to say anything is different in this case?
I hope this also gives you something to think about.
Quas.

There's no way to explain a story like this. But there's a lot more possible than a ghost handing over a sticker.

There could be many natural reasons how he got the sticker, just because the person wasn't found doesn't mean that somebody just didn't give it to him.
And, if we want to assume that your grandfather did give him the sticker, that means there was a ghost, which from what I hear, goes against Christianity.

So now you believe in God. Your Pop was suppose to be in heaven. If he was in heaven how could he be visiting your brother? In heaven there is no male or female so Bryan saw Pop or a voice told Bryan I am Pops. I am surprised that you an Atheist believes to where you attribute this to God.

I was with my grandmother when she died and she insisted she saw my grandfather standing at the end of the bed. My grandfather at that time had been dead 24 years. The human mind can easily convince itself to see something in which it badly wants or misses, but that in no way is evidence of an afterlife. Your story doesn't change my view in the least little bit, but if it makes you happy then great.

No-one who was not there could possibly be in a position to comment on it. It's worthless asking. We cannot verify a single detail of the story, who might or might not have been telling the truth (we can't even be certain your granddad wasn't dead and made a physical appearance in the ward), we know nothing about you, so the possibilities are endless - and therefore worthless. If the story means something to you, that's great. I hope it remains important in some way. But don't use singular events as some kind of proof they aren't.

Could your mom had, maybe lied? I find it odd that she would have asked the entire hospital (unless your hospital is rediculously small) if anyone gave him the sticker. An average hospital in a metropolis consists of hundreds of people.
Besides, I have to stress this...Just because you can't exaplain it, that doesn't mean God did it. I don't know where my socks go every time I wash the laundry, I don't say the sock-monster stole them.
Maybe the sticker fairy gave the kid the sticker. Why god? Bahahaha.
If this were true, and I'm not going to say it isn't, nor that it is- It doesn't prove GOD so much as it suggests the existance of the paranormal.

Well, good story, and sadly, just 'cause I do not have an explanation does not warrant that a divine being did anything, or any sort of after-life (though I do believe something of a sorts...) so...it doesn't affect my beliefs at all, other than something else to think about....hope I helped some.

I have a similar story, when I was 5 my maw-maw was dieing from kidney failure, we had taken care of her with dialsis and all but she had to go to the hospital and long story short she died, but the night before she died my we all were with her my mom siblings and myself were outside her room my dad with her sayin goodbye, she hadn't said a word for a week, nor had she moved, but as my dad left she looked at the end of her bed pointed and then raised her arm straight in the air, she did this a couple times and my dad asked her what she saw, knowing it was the death angle comin to take her home, she never said but the next morning my dad prayed that if the Lord wanted her to go home then to take her before he got to the hospital, he didn't 5 or so minutes after he saw her she went home be be with the Lord, it still gives me goose bumps when i think about it. God Bless
I have been a Christian for about 5 or so years, my maw-maw was a devout Christian and I can't wait till the Lord comes and calls us all home to be with him.

Totally Trippy! I love stories like that :) I guess your Grandpa gave Bryan the sticker. It's really not THAT hard to believe, now is it?? To those of you who think something like this is not possible, you need to open your mind. Life is an illusion.
Great story, Thank you
