I have a pan of frozen homeade lasagna (metal disposable pan) that is still frozen (not left overnight in the fridge to thaw). Is there any way I can have it for dinner tonight? How can I get it ready? Thanks~

Mike, you're priceless. I wish I could share my yummy homeade lasagna with your bro. Much better than Stouffer's.

Normally I bake my thawed lasagna for 40 minutes at 400 F. I would think you could bake it for 60 minutes at 350 F. Start with it covered - check it after about 45 minutes and decide if you're on the right track. If still quite frozen, lower the temp and recover it and bake it for another 1/2 hour. Check again and adjust your temp and time based on what you see. The worst that will happen is you can't eat the entire panfull.

TO HEAT FROZEN LASAGNA: Preheat oven to 400o F. (hot). Remove freezer
wrap. Place food in baking pan. Bake 1 1/4 hours or until sauce bubbles at edges and center is hot.

let lasagna sit for about 10 minutes to set up before cutting

Well sure, it will just take longer to cook, do it for the first say, 20-30 minutes on a lower temperature, and then raise the temperature and cook it until it's hot all the way through. You obviously can't put it in the microwave, as you mentioned it is in a metal pan. . . .

You can cook frozen. Cook for double the time. Leave covered and unwrap the last 15 minutes.

Sure! It will just take longer to bake. It will be delicious, though! Just throw it in at 375 and check in in about an hour and see how much longer you need. It depends on how deep the dish is and such. Enjoy!
