Actually the statement is based on a mistranslation.
The original passage from the sixth chapter of I Timothy states: "The love of money is the root of all sorts of evil" - not "All evil". There are other sources of evil.
Arrogance for one example.

If it love of money has not been made into the the main evil instead of The Devil it is because of The way The Bible has been written. If Hell wereto be written of as a democracy in The Bible then Love Of Money could be capitalised and take over main evil as it is neither God nor Devil that is the cause of evil it is Love Of Money,

Once again, nowhere is it written that money is the root of all evil. What is written is THE LOVE OF MONEY is the root of all evil. Get it right next time, and you won't look like an uneducated moron like you do now. It's ok to work hard and be diligent. In fact, God will reward you with more resources if you do. But, you must never forget: money is just a RESOURCE, but our God is our SOURCE. See the difference? Love God, and people, use money and things. Don't do it backwards, and end up loving money and things, using people and forgetting about God completely. Continue to work hard and be diligent, and God will be the source of all the resources you need.

First of all the Holy Bible says that the love of money is the root of all evil, 1st Timothy 6:10, the love of it, maybe thats why you are working hard for it. Now there is nothing wrong with working hard and having money as long as you give your tithes and offerings to the Lord. Now one of the reasons they don't give it away is because people who have it are not going to give it to you for nothing. If you were rich would you go around making everybody else rich? If everybody got rich who would do work huh, something to think about??

It is the way we use money that is considered good or evil. Money is an object or thing that is not good or evil but it is how we use it that determines these poles . Anyway to me selfishness is the root of evil because all evil can be traced to anger and fear with roots in selfishness.

1 Timothy 6:10
"For the love of money is a root of all evils; it is through this craving that some have been led astray and have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves through with many acute [mental] pangs."
That is the actual Scripture quote. Interesting how secular mankind has tried to shift the blame from himself and his own actions, to the object itself.

Campare your salary to somebody who has more than you. Most of the time they have better sh*t than you do, and you take this in. So, you bust my *** even harder to get what they have, although you'll never really catch up because they can buy something better at the drop of a dime. Then you do the same routine with that sh*t.
Money isn't all bad now, but it IS in how you handle it.

The phrase is actually "The LOVE of Money is the root of all evil," going along with "You cannot serve God and Mammon (a pagan god)."
The scripture here talks about having the proper priorities and putting the things of God first.

You are soooo facetious. Money is not the root of all evil, the love of money is. So, money is not given by the devil.
