I use fresh step for my 2 kittens, and it works great. We tried Tidy Cats and the house smelled like kitty butt about an hour after changing the litter.

i use the tidy cat crystals, i have 2 cats and only have to change the litter every 3 weeks, you just scoop the poop every day and stir the litter and there is absolutely no smell. They say 1 bag last 1 cat 30 days and it last my 2 cats at least 3 weeks.

I have always used the pine pellets. It's called pine care i think. It comes in big bags that are located in your grocery store. When it's broken down by urine it turns into saw dust but does not breed mold or fungus, and no smell. It certainly is a wonderful product to use.

Try it you'll love it. I have also used it for my avian species.

I use the generic Wal-Mart brand called Special Kitty. Very satisfied with litter life, scent and odor-control.

I use the kinds that don't have perfumes and chemicals. And I dump and clean out the litter pans every day.
