I mean physically Hurt, not damage

well for some reason when I eat like taffy candy and some of it sticks to my teeth, it really hurts! .like a sharp pain until I get it off or it disolves

this cannot in and of itself hurt your teeth, but it feeds the bacteria which cause decay and damage the teeth.
The pain you feel from eating somethinf sweet is from decay (cavity) on that tooth. This question when originally posted was unclear, what you should have said is that your teeth hurt when you ate sweets.
