Rub them w/ sliced lemon. Let the juice sit a few minutes & rinse thoroughly.
Use a shower puff w/ a moisturizing cleanser. Apply a lotion w/ AHA or glycolic acid each night to slough off old skin cells.
Try applying a compress of 50% warm water w/ 50% whole milk. Milk has lactic acid which will loosen old, dry skin cells while the milk fat will help moisturize your skin.
You can also make a scrub of whole fat yogurt mixed w/ a bit of lemon juice & honey. Add ground oatmeal to make a paste. Yogurt also has lactic acid & milk fat. The lemon juice will help lighten the skin & loosen old skin cells. Oatmeal will thicken the scrub, sooth the skin & add texture. Honey is a humectant.
Apply sunscreen daily or wear long skirts & pants to avoid sun exposure.
