Photoshop Elements 5.0

Just go here http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshopelwin/tryout.html and click "Download Now" for a 30-day free trial.

If you want to explore the world of Adobe Photoshop without spending the big money for the full product, get Photoshop Elements 5.0. It is a tremendously powerful program and it only sells for $99.00. You can get it at http://www.adobe.com or any of the usual places you buy software.

You can use it practically right out of the box with the "Quick Fix" option and then you can advance into the full program, learning TONS about the Photoshop world as you go. Frankly, I think neither you nor I would ever explore the full capabilities of Photoshop Elements 5.0. If you ever DO think you are ready for more, you will already know much of what you will need to know about "real" Photoshop. They'll undoubtedly have a new and improved version by then.

Almost every single image on my Flickr site was processed with Photoshop Elements 5.0. Some have from zero to barely any post-processing at all and others have considerable amount of perspective alterations, saturation changes, etc., and these are specified under the picture most of the time.

Many people use Picasa, although I have not. I don't know how powerful it is, but it's

free.

I played around here for a bit, but I didn't join (It's FREE) or poke around too much,

since I am happy with Photoshop Elements already. It seemed like a powerful but very

easy photo editor. I don't know how to download and save your results, but I imagine

that it would be possible if I (you) joined.

A free trial is available from adobe.com, it is called Photoshop CS3. This is the full version - costs about $700.00, however Photoshop Elements has all the tools most people would ever need and it can be found on sale for well under $100.00. A trail version of this program is also available from Adobe.

My pref is Paint save expert over photograph save, even with the undeniable fact that i make the main the two (i appreciate that i'll import to my Palm from photograph save), yet can do a lot greater with Paint save. Picasa is loose and robust for a beginner yet now not a lot for the pro paintings I do. I easily have some "morph" application that imports in to shade save expert fairly genuine.
