so theres this guy that i dated last year and have loved ever since. we correspond through letters and he told me he still loves me too(hes in georgia at basic training for the army) and im in montana.we have plans to hang out and possibly date again when he returns in 5 weeks. last weekend i kissed one iof his best friends....idont knw if i should tell him or not. and if i do tell him,does he have a right to be mad?

You should tell him. He has a right to be mad, but if he really does still love you, you saying sorry and it will never happen again should be enough.

He has a right to be mad since you let him feel like you like him, and only him. However you are not dating yet so what you did, might have been a little mean but not tottally wrong. Think about telling him, If I were you I would, because there is always that chance his friend tells him, and then he gets mad at you for not telling him. If it is in a letter though i wouldn't know how to tell him, maybe on the phone or when he comes back.

Personally, I would tell him. If you kissed his "best friend" there is more than a good chance his best friend will tell him before you get the chance anyways. Guys have been known to talk about those things too.
Also, who wouldn't be mad at the fact that they were cheated on? Kissing is considered cheating, regardless of how innocent it made have seemed.

Of course he has the right to be mad!! I wouldn't like for some girl to be making plans with me and telling me likes/loves me and then turns around and makes out with my best friend!!! In what way is that right? If that's his best friend, he probably already knows because his friend is probably going to want to brag about it!

Of course he'd have the right to be mad, you cheated on him and even worse with his best friend. But if you have all ready broken up, it's none of his buissness cause he's gone. But why did you kiss him?
