4.25%!!! that must've been years go....there's no way you will get that now.

there are many companies that offer mortgages online.
If you have a cookie cutter loan then you should be able to go anywhere. If you have a rough loan or bad credit score...100% financing...then you will need a mortgage broker. there are many online companies that are mortgage brokers.

Why strictly an internet mortgage? Why limit yourself that way?

Sure, go ahead and check them out, but I also highly recommend going to see a mortgage broker. My mortgage broker found me a great deal with a state first time homebuyer program that no online company offered me.

When one of the online ones called me back for a follow up, I told him I went with a mortgage broker. He asked me my terms, and when I told him, he told me "Nobody has ever offered a 4.25% fixed rate in the history of mortgages!" I asked him if he bothered to check any of my states first time homebuyer programs, and he sheepishly said no. I then told him to check it out and gave him the web address.

www.emortgage1.com offers the lowest guaranteed internet rates - even lower than Countrywide most of the time. They guarantee the closing costs, rates and closing date if you give accurate information.
