H'mm. Sorry didn't realise about that. Yes, I agree suspicious wanting bank details for a freebie! I didn't get that far - just found what they were claiming a bit too unbelievable... so curious if others have tried.

i tried this EFT manual from emofree, i didn't really feel that much of a difference but i hear that it is great at helping problems physical and mental, i probably didn't do it right as i just quickly glanced through the manual so maybe when i have an hour or two to spare i'll give it a real go

I've used EFT twice and it really helped me to let go of certain issues. That said, I think it helped because I had arrived independently at the stage where I wanted to be rid of them and I just needed someone to give me the final push to let them go. It certainly helped me to get rid of emotional pain, but since the only physical pain I suffer from comes from very definitely physical sources, I can't offer an opinion there.

I too have sort of tried it. It does calm you down and unfocus your attention on whatever pain you have. I say "sort of" because I do it from memory of the manual (hard to focus on what you're doing if you're reading at the same time) and I'm not fully into it, I just try it when I have some ache or pain that is not too bad but is really annoying, or when I'm nervous about something.

It may help you to come to terms with it and keep you relax and become focussed, but it will not be a miracle cure. There are so many relaxation methods out there, that I truly believe you have to do what is best for you. However, remember, there are also a lot of people out there that want your money. So be selective.

It is another form of relaxation therapy, and should be no more or less effective than yoga or biofeedback.
