Hello. :-) I'm new to this forum. Well, I just recently adopted a puppy about 2-3 months ago. My puppy name is Miley. I got a hard time identifying my puppy's breed. She is only 4 months old right now and weight around 14 to 16lbs. She got a really long body and her legs are not short. Miley is a Golden Retriever mixed, because her mother is a Golden Retriever, and her father is unknown. Most people told me that Miley could be a Dachshund/Golden Retriever mixed, but I'm not sure. If Miley is a Dachshund/Golden Retriever how big will she get? Others said that she will be only 25-30 lbs. I just want to know what breed is she. Below are photos of Miley.

I got Miley from the animal shelter. She got 3 brothers and 1 sisters. And none of them looks alike. Since Miley's birth mom was a .... well her mother was a very sexual active dog. All of her brother and sister looks very different. None of them look alike. Since the foster parents who used to foster Miley and her silbings told us that the mom was a golden retriever, and the father was all unknown. I will update more pictures of Miley :-D

if you really want to know the breeds where she comes from you can get an DNA analysis. That's the only way I guess because in the first picture she looked like golden retriever with something else, then the same, and now she looks like a crossbreed between labrador and something else. But this is so ambiguous so it would be better for you to check for an DNA analysis to determine it.

Definitely 1/2 is Golden Retriever,.. looks to have some spaniel and perhaps another mix too from dad's side.

Well i'm definitely sure it has a lot more of a Golden Retriever than anything else, but it could have the smallest resemblance of a lab but i really don't think so by looking at her paws they look to small for a lab mix i'm sure there is a smaller breed behind this but you got a cute dog...

She is adorable! Gosh it is hard to say what the other mix might be. Her legs look like those of a basset hound but I don't see any other distinguishable markings expect for her legs. Guess you got one of those new designer breeds people pay big bucks for when it is a mixed. Enjoy your new puppy
Ooh just saw another person's answer. A possible Corgi mix. That sounds possible as well.

Looks like a Golden Retriever/Golden mix. There could have been 2 fathers - her brothers n sisters could be differently sired... yes, it can happen in one litter!!!

She looks like she has alot of golden retriever in her. And looking at the ears and muzzle she looks like some Shepard in her too. What a cute dog. You must be proud. Love her!

It looks like a Dachshund/Golden Retriever/Papillon mix to me. It's ears, mostly.

that is the cutest dog ever! well my dog is just like it, a bit older though. your dog, like mine is a mixe between a golden retriever and a long-haired dachshund
