Not necessarily. There is more to salvation and a relationship with God than repentance.

Hi. I have often thought about this myself. First of all there is nobody in Heaven at the moment. Everyone has to be judged first. Are you 100% sure Hitler committed suicide ?What if he was insane when he died.Is he responsible for his actions ? I am sure that if he asked for forgiveness and was truly sorry for what he had done God would take that into account provided he did this before he died .So it is up to God (naturally) what happens to him.
EDIT....
I am often amazed by some of the answers from so called "Christians" saying this person or that person deserves to go to Hell.If anyone wishes that they might find it hard to get to Heaven. They are seeking revenge. There is no doubt Hitler did such terrible crimes against humanity but he is no different than wealthy governments letting millions of their people starve to death because they wont help them.If a Christian commited a mortal sin and was sorry and asked God to forgive them but also asked God to send Hitler to Hell do you think that Christian was forgiven?

To Fellow Christians.....
The apostle Paul wrote: “Or do you not know that the holy ones will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you unfit to try very trivial matters? Do you not know that we shall judge angels?”—1Â Cor. 6:2, 3.
Even If these Angels are the Debased ones...Hitler Judging them..? Not Likely.

Repentance doesn't save anyone at all. Salvation is by believing that Jesus, who is God, died for our sins on the cross and rose again. Had Hitler believed that before his dying breath, then yes, he would have been saved.

very good question.
Common sense(not the bible) would tell me that the likes of Saddam, Hitler and Columbus should be in 'hell", if hell exists.
And if thats true, Common Sense would also tell me that George Bush will soon be joining his buddy Saddam.

yup. Note, however, that seldom does one such as Hitler, ever repent of anything.
