how long is gum good for before it expires?

i was wondering how long gum lasts for besausse ii have 2 and half year old gum

If it is stored at room temperature it does not expire in the sense that it will be unhealthy, it just may not taste nice or have a good consistency. My suggestion is to try it, you can always spit it out if it is not nice anymore.

it becomes nasty and stale. buy some new gum.
