It's not illegal to feed strays. In Milwaukee if you've fed a stray for a month the city considers it yours.
I've found that if the grass is being pooped on, the grass is too long and should be cut - cats don't like to poop in short grass. Raccoons and possums will still do it, but the cats won't.
Also mothballs are a really good deterant for a cat. If there are small areas they get to your yard through, you can put the mothballs there, but if your entire property line is wide open, you can scatter them around. Rain will melt them in several months, and they won't hurt the grass.
The pee, that's never a problem. The flower garden out front has benefited a LOT from the extra fertilizer and pee of the local strays here, it's like a jungle up there. Dog pee will kill vegetation, but cat pee doesn't. The composition is diffrent.

At gardening stores, they sell motion activated attachments for a hose that spray water when activated. These work great. I don't know how big your patio is, but if you take plastic carpet runners (the kind with the little nubs on the bottom) and turn them upside down, then place them around the edges, cats don't like to walk on these, and after awhile you can probably pick them up. Cats also hate to walk on double sided tape, stick it around the edges. Simple household ammonia also sometimes works, sprinkle it around the area the cats frequent. If you are at home when they come around, buy an air horn. When they show up, blow it. That gives them a very strong aversion.

There are also organic sprays you can buy at a pet store that you spray and cats stay away. If you want to go into legalities, technically that is destruction of property when they go on your patio. You can lodge a complaint with the police, they'll give her a notice or a fine, and maybe she'll take care of them better or be forced to get rid of them.

How many cats...call animal control if more than 3
Talk to your neighbor about her cat box duties...if cats are wild they will be flea carriers and breed...they should be fixed so you don't get even more...It's her responsibility since she is feeding them...
Go to petsmart and see what they have that's natural for the patio...citrus something works and smells good.

Sounds silly but fox urine (you can find it at a hunting store) might do the trick, its a natural predator so it might get them away, also cayanne pepper sprinkled around they sniff before they pee if they are sniffing something they dont like they may not be interested in you porch anymore. Good Luck
If you have a yard try planting catmint at the edge of your property they may gravitate to that and leave your patio alone

Get a watergun and cover and watch. while the cat includes your backyard soak him/her thoroughly with water. some circumstances of this and he/she won't come back. maximum cats (some breeds excluded of direction, the exception to the rule) do in comparison to water and it does not take plenty to deter them. of direction, I additionally like the orange peel concept. something that's not merciless. yet land mines and electric powered fences? what's incorrect with those human beings? while i replaced right into a newborn we used to play ball in a neighbor's EMPTY lot (not at all broke a window or the rest that i will undergo in recommendations) and this previous guy raised such hell with our mum and dad that we had to stop enjoying there. We weren't hurting a element. while previous guy Bozeman died each and every newborn interior the community cheered. Why do human beings could desire to be so propose to animals and childrens? what form of kicks do they get out of it?

They have products out there (usually in the gardening section of home depot or walmart) that will repel cats and other animals. I've used it in my garden and it seems to work great for keeping them away. Spray it on your patio and it should keep them away.

Tell the neighbor calmly that it is your property and she doesn't have the rights to do this. If it doesn't work you have right to take actions with the town mayor since it is your patio. DO NOT START A FIGHT this is bad because she will get mad.

Cats don't like citrus so put orange peels, lemon, or something around the patio.
