In my experience, Ive always found it best to be honest. I know it sounds crazy. But they can tell if your just feeding them a bunch of "BS".

Quite honestly, I am not a workaholic, and wouldnt want to set my standard for that.

I always say, I am a little slow in the morning and need my morning coffee at work. (Who doesnt? Its honest, and most people can relate to it because most people arent morning people)

I also say, when I am at work I give it to my full effort, and can work through my lunch break if need be, but I dont want to be spending 60 hours there a week. I have a family at home. And the I rather work 40 hours of full potential, then 60 hours of being worn out and not wanting to work. And then I add... But of course in important situation, I will pull through of course, I just cant do it as a weekly thing.

And then, I will finish with I tell people what I am thinking, not in a rude way. But I dont like to just sit back and be quiet, I like to make my opinions heard, and I know it can get on peoples nevres some times. But the reason you hire different people is so you have different ideas. And I am also not affraid to tell people when I am disapointed in how they handled a situation, whether they be my superior or not.

Strengths are also weaknesses under certain conditions. As you sit and wait for your interview, check out the other employees; atmosphere of office - rushing or moderate? Go from there to "fit in." I am very organized - but they originally think that's good. I am always a few minutes early to come in and a few minutes later to leave. Dedication to the job. I believe in my commitment to the job, as well as my commitment to other aspects of my life.

The top of the list of my weaknesses is helping. I find my self helping others often.
Next would be . . .taking my time if I am not sure how things work together I will slow productivity down to fix it right.
Last, Saying no. I have a hard time telling someone I am to busy or I need to go.

Am I hired?

I would say that my biggest weaknesses are: being a work-a-holic, being too organized, and something else about liking work too much. They don't actually have to be "weaknesses". Say something that makes you sound good, but don't lie too much cuz they'll figure it out eventually if they hire you. Like don't tell them you're organized if you know you're not.

Try to list some that can only affect you on the weekends. My weakness is sailing,I am inclined to give all my time up on weekends just to go out sailing, or golfing or whatever else you can think off or talking on the telephone.all day

1. That I have no weaknesses.
2. That I am unable to make up a weakness to answer your question.
3. That I am unable to tolerate questions pertaining to weakness.

I doubt that would get you a job, but it would be a fun way to answer.

i read somewhere you should say you're too much of a perfectionist... workaholic might also work, and you could go for shy depending on your job because some interviewers might think that shy people are more reliable etc.
