i did not say that they did leave iraq. they left basra because they got beat.

Perhaps you have trouble understanding the news.

The British Military left a location at Basra Palace, they moved a few klicks down the road to the main British postion at Basra Airport.

They have not left Iraq.

They have trained the local military and police to do their own security work.

They have not left Iraq.

This was the point of the British being there.
Their training job at Basra Palace is over.
