How many credits are you taking?
You do realize that to receive the full monthly amount, you have to enrolled for 12 credits or more. The difference of this (if only going part time lets say) will be held for future use.
Talk to your school's registrar they'll point you to the person who deals with this, It's easy. sign some papers and then verify online every month that you are still enrolled.
