Polish immigrants are the least of our problems. As already mentioned, they work hard, do not scrounge off the government, they try to integrate and they do not blow up the Tube. However, it must be obvious to anybody arriving in this country that there are simply too many immigrants here already. They risk a backlash, which is not their fault as individuals. It is going to get ugly here soon.

We elected a government to address this kind of thing, not simply to go down on its knees to Brussels. What are THEY doing about it? Ask your local MP what she/he is doing about it.

you forgot the bag of useless plumbing tools.

But their are too many immigrants in Britain now, and it's just getting rediculous. We should only allow so many in each year, like a quota, and only if they have skills we actually need (no more taxi drivers who couldn't point to London on a map, and can hardly pronounce it anyway), like teachers, doctors, that sort of thing. Oh, and only if they can speak and write english well enough.

lol that was funny..just to get back at a few on here..yep poland lost a lot during the but we did too..hard working thats true but they work hard with no respect for others..look how many brits are losing their jobs because the pols will work for a lot less and of course they will work for a lot less because the handouts they get are massive..free food, free gas and electric, free rent, free cars, free mobile phones with free calls, free food, free taxis, free everything..no wonder brits are losing their jobs as they can't compete with that..yep the free everything is true .

Get your drift. Sign in one local Polish Deli-- English not welcome. Come on, this is our country. Heard a guy saying that he rented a house to a Polish family and had to spend thousands to get it cleaned up when he eventually got them evicted. I am not racist, in fact I have a number of Arab friends, who I may say are at least clean.

One of my best friends lives in Poland - he is one of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet.

Poland suffered a very great deal during the Second World War - their losses were huge... since then the people, probably still in shock, endured enforced poverty...

... so please don't make fun out of an entire country just because the people are less materialistic than you.

I don't mind the Polish. They even flew quite a few Spitfires during the Battle of Britain. At least they are not planning to blow up the underground or airports. In the main they are descent enough people not unlike the Brits.
