We see oodles of questions about "how do I look after cats" on here but virtually none about dogs. What does that say?

Erm... try look in the dog section darling!! There are currently 87 results for dogs there.... and 37 results for cats here!
And if you're saying that there is more activity in the cat section than the dog section, there are probably more people in the world with cats than there are with dogs! To have a dog, you ideally have to be at home all the time and most people work. Cats are the ideal pet for people who aren't at home most of the time. So maybe that's the link!
That, or the fact that you can train a dog very easily, so you tend to have less behavioural problems than you do with cats.
Or maybe there are more people who care about their cats than who care about their dogs... but I doubt that is the reason!

It says that cat people care more about precise care issues. Most dogs I know are NOT cared for properly because we live in a world that all you do for your dog is go to the grocery store and buy processed dog food, get the rabies shot and walk it.

Just to let you know there is different sections and this is the cat section and that is about cats and there is one for dogs.

Maybe that there are more people with cats than dogs, Or that people who have dogs don't care what becomes of them.

Cos cats are alot harder to look after than dogs?? they feed their selves. they roam, they crap anywhere, they can pretty much look after theirselves. maybe some people expect cats to be like dogs and stay home to play and crap in the garden etc ...
i also see how dim people are HELLO read the question again!!!
