It depends on what kind of sedation you get, whether or not you'll be up to it. Some places use a combination of Versed and Demerol or fentanyl, and that'll hang around for a while. you might feel OK, you might not.
If you are going to be sedated by an anesthesiologist or nurse anesthetist, ask for propofol only. It wears off quickly, and you'll feel better faster.
If you decide to go, make sure someone else drives you. The combination of sedation and dehydration from the prep will make you potentially unsafe behind the wheel.

Depends on how it is being done. If you have a similar procedure to the one I had four years ago, the prior day's preparation will be EXTREMELY irritating and uncomfortable -- those Fleet Phospho-Soda enemas will have you on the crapper ALL DAY LONG the day before -- and then they will sedate you -- you'll be pretty drained and groggy, even 6 hours later, as well as dehydrated.
You'll probably not really want to go, but if the sedation wears off, it will be possible. Have somebody else drive, just in case.

there's no medical contraindication, but as stated previously, the amount of sedation you're going to experience is variable. most people are fine, but it's possible you might be so sedated that you won't feel like going. and you need to have someone drive you.

Depends on how you feel after you wake up. Every one can respond differantly. I had one and I went home and took a nap for a few hours and felt fine.

You should be fine physically. But having had one myself, I should warn you, you will be farting LOTS. L-O-N-G ripping ones. If it's an important dinner with family, I'd go- but if it's for business, I'd reschedule.

You are going to fart all day because you completely empty out and then after the procedure your digestive system is in overdrive to refuel your body.

The "python of love" effects people differently. As long as they have restrooms you should be fine. Bring a book :-)
