I used to ask my self that same question. My father, a Methodist minister, later became an athiest. I could not believe it and wondered why. I asked my mom, a Pentacostal. And she told me that some people lose their faith when trials and tribulations become too much for them to bear. This lead to more questions that I didn't ask her, but wondered myself over the years. If that were the case, and God does not give more than one can bear, then why did my dad lose faith? I don't know. I question my own faith, believe in God and then i question God, Himself. I know know God suffers and loves, but why the hatred, troubles and such we all go through daily? Good question, by the way.

Putting aside the obvious problem of there being nothing to suggest that god actually exists..

Because a god who "suffers and loves" is also a god who hates and kills. If I'm going to believe in something without reason.. at least give me somebody a bit more mentally stable.

Go back to Genesis and read it.Read it plainly, and you will see when and where sin entered the world.Death, disease, pain, etc, etc are all consequences of sin.God didn't cause this world to have and suffering. We did.We live in a sin cursed world.

If he's almighty , why is he suffering ? He's supposed to be able to everything and anything . I guess he loves to suffer, or else he's of limited might .

Faith is irrational. That's why. If we had good reason to believe in such a god, no faith would be necessary.

Because there's no evidence he/she/it exists. As Mark twain said, "Faith is believing in that which I know ain't so."
