Do annoying people know how annoying they are?

Do they ignor themselves of what they do or they are just too stupid to know their annoying?

God no, and its even more annyoing that they dont know. And the fact that they have the gall to say that they find something annoying is the worst

Well, I know that it s hard for me to deal with annoying people so I don t. I used to have a girlfriend that was annoying and I almost lost my damn mind while we were in each other s presence. She would do things like wake me up an hour into my sleep to ask me something silly like if I wanted something from the store because she was going. (I had to deal with this silliness after working a 12 hour graveyard shift) She knew I had issues getting back to sleep whenever she broke my sleep, but she constantly did this along with a ton of other unexplainable things. Once I find that a person is annoying I get away from them and fast. I don t have the best of tempers and I find myself becoming rude toward the annoying person. I do think some people are able to tell that they are annoying, but as for some I do believe they do it purposely. I m no Phd, but I find that a lot of the annoying people I know have personality disorders or seem to. *shrugs* Don t get me wrong sometimes an annoying person can be a great person. I just can t be around them, at least not for long periods of time.

The first step in dealing with annoying people is to figure out why they annoy you so much. You might say "it's obvious - it's because they are an annoying person" but I challenge you to reframe that statement to "it's because I am annoyed by them". There's a big difference. The first statement puts you in a victim position "they are doing it to me; I have no control over how I feel about it". The second statement takes responsibility for yourself and is more empowering.

ok, i would think that annoying people, are annoying because of two reasons: they want attention , or they like me, speak their mind and if people do not like it, oh well! Anyway, some people don't realize they are being annoying, and annoying behavior is like beauty in the eye of the beholder, I would guess. We are not stupid. Society is becoming more and more intolerant to people, their mistakes and behavior, in general. Which is why i am anti-social. People, kids, and society in general, get on my nerves!

I think that a lot of people who are like that vaguely realize that they're annoying, they just don't quite understand why/how they're being annoying. A lot of them are mind-blind, they don't see themselves the way others do.

Sometimes people annoy on purpose - it's a good way for them to get rid of you - or they take some kind of pleasure in causing you a bit of grief. I've been quilty of doing this to get rid of someone I'd rather not be around much less talk/interact with -----

I guess it depends who they are annoying & where ...

If they are annoying me in my personal space I usually won't overreact unless it is something offensive.

If it is at the next level , they will soon know all about it !

Who knows what motivates them....for some it could be attention seeking , for others arrogance & yet others maybe poor toilet training as a child ! lol

Standard practice: "It's wrong for YOU to do, but it's ok if it's ME." Those wonderful people who annoy you so much, think they're just fine, because it's THEM doing it...if you did what they do, they'd be onto you like ugly on an ape.

I do not think they know how annoying they are. Whatever they may be - rude, stupid, annoying - we should not let them drive us crazy.
