I know some girls dress provocative to attract men, but that only attracts the wrong kind of man, and some girls do it to pi.ss off other girls. But seriously, why do you women like to dress with all your bits hanging out and leaving nothing to the imagination? It's not a big turn on for a long term relationship. Most guys I know see a girl dressed like that as a one night stand. Why do you do it?

well, besides attracting other men and hell, even other girls, we also do it because we know we were blessed with a fabulous body and feel the need to let everyone know but not touch. Besides, I'm sure most of us are not looking for our partner-for-life at a downtown club

because they think it's cool. I like classy dressed woman. I love skirts and dresses that show a bit of leg...but also leave something to the imagination.
I also find it offensive when women don't wear bras. I saw a woman in the supermarket yesterday (she must have been in her 50's) and she wore a white t-shirt and NO BRA, frankly it was appalling, her breasts where sagging old bags.... need i say more??

Why do some guys wear pants so big the waist is below their a** and not even a belt will hold them up so they walk around like a retarded gorilla showing the world their nasty boxers? I don't understand either one. Especially when the girls in the skimpy clothes have waaaay to much to even think about that (and I'm a big girl myself- it looks tacky to try and squeeze into a pair of jeans 3 sizes to small just to have all your chub hanging out over top- GROSS). It's just not attractive to dress like a slut no matter how good your "attributes" might be.

I think it is largely to get attention, and also because it's seen as attractive somehow. Personally, I like to stay covered because I don't want to just attract a guy based on how hot he thinks my body is. I want a guy who thinks I am pretty, sure, but not one who only views me as a body. Dressing provocatively doesn't help, because if I am making myself out to be just a hot body, then why would anyone see me any differently?
But really, I think a lot of girls do it for the attention...from men and otherwise. You get treated well when you are scantily clad, and sometimes it's just fun.

Every woman who reads this should pay attention to what you are saying, and the other guys' answerers so they will see what men really think of them. There are so many that think the porn look is fashionable, and if you have a great body everyone wants to look at it. I am laughing at some of these answers. Low self esteem and immaturity is what causes women to dress like hookers. They need the attention no matter what kind it is. This is why there are so many of them on here crying "I haven't started my period, what do I do.? Women can look very sexy without all the revealing clothing.

I don't. For the most part, I think you're right.
Why do I think some girls do it? To show off their body parts, and attract men. I don't think it's always about girls wanting to attract men, but about looking good for themselves. Sometimes if a piece of clothing fits nicely, you just want to wear it. However, I agree that it is not cute to have certain body parts exposed. Not cute.

Most women dress provocatively because it makes them feel good, and if you've got the goods, why not show off the assets? If it's a big turn off for you, then don't look. Although I am willing to bet that you look long and hard especially if you're noticing their "bits hanging out".

It could be low self-esteem but it could also be high self-confidence which are basically opposites. Maybe a girl was overweight when she was younger, she worked really hard to get thin, now she is, and it makes her feel good to show off what she worked so hard to make look good. It's not always for guys she's dressing for. She may be dressing for herself.

As a woman, I see it this way: they believe they need that sort of attention to feel better about themselves, and as you stated, a way to attract men (albeit the wrong type).
It's almost always trashy girls that dress provocatively (trashy does not equal poor, so I don't want any misunderstandings about that statement).

i dont do it. like u said, too much showing leaves nothing to the imagination. Guys like the thrill of 'whats underneath' so why go showing it off?? dont get me wrong though, a little cleavage is sexy, not slutty.. but when your n i p p l e s are about to fall out.. thats another story!
i think some girls do it to feel better about themselves. The more they show, the more attention they get from guys.. and that makes them feel better.

Well I don't dress like that. But to answer yo question some girls dress like that for attention or because they have low self-esteem or trying to fit in. To me I think it's trashy. But that's my opinion.
