I tried to ask this question earlier with some added information but everyone got onto the wrong topic. Simply, as a guy do you have friendships with girls for the friendship or are there other motives (sex) behind it. I have been told that guys are only friends with girls to get sex. True or not? Please help.

I'd have to agree with the previous. People don't usually become "friends" especially with the opposite sex, unless they have some interest potentially down the road.

It may just start as a casual person at an office that you end up going out with, or even in a group with, but eventually that interest may come to the surface.

Many of the people that cheat start out by just being friends with people but it ends up turning into something. I'm not saying it always does but there is some reason that people are meeting outside of work hours, sure you can share stories and everything but if any personal stuff creeps in, watch out, your on the path to a relationship.

I have a lot of female friends and it all started out innocently enough but it eventually led to something else, especially the really close ones that I got to know. It's a natural thing, you gravitate towards people that interest you and then if you add the personal stuff to it, watch out.

Always remember this, it takes 2 to tango, so are women also just looking for men to have sex with? If there are some, I'm available! :)

It goes both ways though.

It's true a lot of the time, but things don't always turn out the way either of us planned them. It's fairer to say that even among a strictly friends arrangement between men and women there's still a latent sexual attraction there whether it gets acted upon or not.

Well, I agree with Big H. Maybe they wouldn't have that motive from the start, but if given the chance they probably would.
