Mrs. Jamadar, my English Language and Literature teacher in my final year of High School.
She was/is most beautiful. She was funny, yet strict when the need arose. She told me to stop writing fictitious names on my books (in no uncertain terms). Boy, did I feel foolish in front of the entire class but I learned to love me more and not imagine being another person.
I wrote wonderful essays and she loved that. She challenged me to write more and when I would not read them aloud, she would say, "Give me the book, I'll read it!"
She was not afraid to raise her voice at anyone but...we all knew she loved each one of her girls (it was a Girls' school) I remember one day when she decided we would just relax and have a fun period since everyone was sleepy and no one was paying attention.

I have 3 favourites, Ms Dopkey, who was my first teacher ever in preschool, she taught us to sing in dutch and always let us sleep :) My other was Mrs Collita who taught me in grade 2 who spent the entire day playing maths games and made sure i learnt everything i needed to know about maths for the next 8 years in that year, and lastly was Ms Mitchell who taught me in grade 1 she was mean and strict but i can see why she was like that now she did it to discipline us, everyday we would go over what the virtue of the week meant and promise to practise it, learn ways to show the virtue and read the rest of the virtues, she also made us work as hard as we possibly could in silence and shouted if it was not good enough and she definitely would not let us go out if we had forgotten out hat that day hehe.

My favorite teacher in grade school was Mr. C (for one, it is what we called him, and two, I will keep his identity anon). He was the best! He was everyone's favorite! He was fun, informative, and the best!
College was Dr. P. (We didn't call him that, but two from the prior). He was a young guy. He was only a couple of years older then me. He was young, so he was more on our level when he taught, and he was easy to learn from.
Ironic this question was asked right now because I just looked up Dr. P in the college directory to see if he was still around. I had the BIGGEST crush on him. Oh yeah, he was hot! Turns out, he isn't around anymore! Wonder where he went? DAMN! I was so going to get that someday... LOL

That would be Mrs Ann Brunt our Science teacher. She made the subjects come alive for us and was an inspiration to each and every one of us. She was also one of the youngest teachers in our school and as it was an all girls school it made a difference to how we had after school activities. She was well known for combining with our history teacher and putting on mime acts for us. It sounds awful but in actual fact they used to be fantastic. The best was when they got dressed up and made up as Diana Ross and a Supreme, lol:-)) I have never seen anything as funny - ever!

I'm lucky I had several. One was a TA officer and was a bit of a rouge and knew all the tricks. One served in India. Several had served part of their time in what was then Palestine one was a ex-bomber pilot. All of them knew boys and their evil ways. We were punished if we got caught mainly I think for being daft enough to get caught. As we got older the discipline was formal but friendly. I think my generation was lucky to have such men who had seen the worst men can do in warfare. They would tell us a lot about their time in the forces but only the good times. The first world war veterans were the same

I have two...
Mrs Tyson was my piano teacher from when I started school age 5, and she taught me right through till my last day of high school. She was an inspiration, and she made piano one of my biggest passions.
Mr Suttle was my Latin teacher for the last 3 years of high school. We used to have Latin translation tests every Monday, and I routinely got 60%-ish for them. One day, he called me into his office and told me that he knew I was capable of far better, and that every time I got less than 80% in the future, I would face detention... I got 90% + for every test after that!

My famous instructor replaced right into a student instructor I had my senior 300 and sixty 5 days in severe college in my historic past classification. He have been a school soccer participant that had a severe harm & he had no feeling left in his left arm. i think so undesirable that i do no longer remember his call. yet long tale made short..I in no way have been given reliable grades in historic past & the trimester that he taught me i in my opinion enjoyed it..WOW..he made it interesting, which no instructor earlier had ever completed...historic past had constantly been so uninteresting for me....to precise it off I have been given an A for that trimester! :o)

I would have to say that my favorite teacher was....Mr. Renzi. He taught History. He was not one of those fuddy duddy teachers. To study for tests we would play "Jeopardy" on everything that was in the chapter that we were going to test on.
