In a word atmosphere. You are there when the music is made, the artist or band feeds off the audience and interacts wth them. My wife and daughter love Donny Osmond but I am not keen on him on CD. I took them to see him last year and I really enjoyed it live. Till you've seen a live concert you will not understand. Try it you'll love it I promise.

live like a concert is great but sometimes I prefer the original soundtrack
music from a radio is ok but they never play all the music from dif artists. It's always the same stuff. There are more songs on the album, why can't they play them?
cd's are good cause you buy what you like, except for the occasional yuk song that you have to pass over, cds are pretty good.
tv? you mean videos? they are good when you like the band and the song they are playing.

Well for one, live the songs are a little different every time. where as with recorded music its the same every time.I prefer live with some artists because the make things fresh.

Most so called HiFi's are crap, to get the proper dynamic range of a live performance you would need something like 200watts or more. Real HiFi costs money.
