Every Jew does not support israel blindly.
You can love something and not approve of it's actions.
At one time, I disagree with some of what the nation of Israel is now doing, I see why it is happening, and I love it deeply. It is a conflict born of care.
You need to keep in mind that Israel is not the one training it's children to blow themselves up in a hate-filled moment of glory. Israel is responding to such actions.

By oppression, do you mean defending oneself against countries and peoples whose avowed aims are to push Israel into the sea? Or maybe you're talking about defending oneself against suicide bombers blowing up innocent civilians in crowded night clubs, markets, buses, etc.
Which one do you mean?

Israel is a refuge for Jews that were chased out of their Arabic homelands by their anti-Jewish neighbors. From there, they can defend themselves against rocket attacks, suicide bombers, and those who use children as shields.

oppressed is 'your' word. I would say they are 'defenders' of their little Country after thousands of years of having no homeland. The do what they must do or else the surrounding Muslim Countries will drive them out.
