That is called the "Steady State" theory and has already been proven false, going on Einsteins theories, a Catholic Priest named Father George Lemaitre came up with the primeval atom theory which puts the universe into motion and going back proves that the universe had a beginning and will have an ending.

The universe had a beginning and will have an end. It's been scientifically proven. It is controlled by space time. God created the universe and the dimension time so therefor God can exist outside of time and have no beginning or end.
To answer your question about the rock...... God can create a rock of infinite size and still be able to move it.

The common is actual. something it extremely is actual got here into existence. God isn't actual. something that comes into being is an consequence that has to have a reason. An consequence has to have a reason. A reason does not unavoidably could desire to have a reason. the 1st element that got here into existence had to have a reason that already existed. There must be a common reason that has continuously existed through fact some thing won't be able to come from absolute nothingness and not making use of a reason. the start of the Universe replaced into the start of time, area, capability, remember. Time is a length of flow of a few thing actual. Time as all of us be attentive to it did not exist previously the universe through fact there replaced into not something actual. the reason of the universe had to have the capability of being interior itself. The Bible calls the mandatory first reason God.

The first words in the Bible are these"In the beginning God created the Heavens and the earth."Genesis 1:1..The existence of God is taken for granted. To attempt to be "wise above what is written" is great folly. The existence of God is the greatest of mysteries. Neither man nor angel can comprehend it."Canst thou by searching find out God? Canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection? It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know? The measure therfore is longer than the earth and broader than the sea" Job 11:7-9
If there is a God,man can know something about himself, where he came from, something about the universe, why it exists. If there is no God,nothing can be satisfactory known, and all things, whether they exists by fate or chance, are in hopless confusion and darkness.
Philosophers have generally admitted that there are "First truths" or First principles" from which all reasoning must proceed. The First Cause is another name for God. All secondary causes are dependent on the First Cause, but the First cause is absolutely independent.
Concieve the Divine Being as a Spirit, having the same dominion over the universe, in every part of space as that which our minds posses over every portion of our bodies. God has only to will the most importantly changes, and thay are instantly accomplished." He speaks, and it is done; he commands, and it stands fast".
finally,The Devine Being,as the great Father of Spirits, combines within Himself all the seperate energies of the universe. God is the source, orgin, and fountain of all power difussed through creation. The very minds which he has formed are kept in mysterious subordination, and can never overstep the bounds he has assigned them.Once have I heard this, that power belongs unto God. God is self-existent; for there can be no reason why he exists that do inhere in himself. The ideal of self-existence overwhelms us, but the constitution of the human mind is such as to require us to believe that there is a self-existent Being, the cause of all finite existence...There is a God,and he sits on the highest throne in Heaven!

Because that would mean that you are transferring godhood to the Universe. The Universe is a created, physical thing. It is not God.

God tells us in His Word when He created the Universe.
You are the creation. He is the CREATOR...dont expect to think as He thinks or have the intelligence or ability to understand the deep questions of the universe such as these...LOL

the universe isn't infinite, it's expanding. Now the real question is what's outside the universe if there is such a place. Multiverse theory anyone?
