I guarantee you won't get 'em removed for just 50 bucks. There is a medicine that can be prescribed by your dermatologist that might help. It's called cimetidine. But this is just one of several treatment options. Freezing, as you already discovered, doesn't work all that well.
(Just a quick note for the half-informed: Yes I know cimetidine is an ulcer medication known as Tagamet......it exerts good activity against certain plantar warts too!)
I've had warts burned off, excised, respond to Compound W, but my favorite 'removal' involved beer and a hobby sander on a cold December night.

Home treatment
Many people do not treat warts unless they are unsightly or painful. If you choose to treat your wart, home treatment is usually the first treatment tried. It includes:
Salicylic acid, a nonprescription medication that softens the skin layers that form a wart so that they can be rubbed off. It is available as a paint, cream, plaster, tape, or patch that you put on the wart. Salicylic acid may take weeks to months to cure a wart. Salicylic acid formulas include Compound W Wart Remover, Occlusal, and Salacid.
Tape occlusion (duct tape). This treatment uses tape to cover the wart for a period of time.
Treatment by your health professional
Cryotherapy is often used if home treatment is not successful. This procedure uses a very cold liquid to freeze a wart. Cryotherapy poses little risk of scarring, although it can be painful.
Less commonly used treatment by your health professional includes:
Retinoid cream (Retin-A, Avita), which is a prescription medication that you apply to the wart at home. It disrupts the wart's skin cell growth.
Cantharidin (Cantharone, Cantharone Plus), which causes the skin under the wart to blister, lifting the wart off of the skin. This medication is injected into the wart at your health professional's office.
Bichloracetic acid (BCA), which kills warts by destroying the proteins in the cells. It is useful for warts on the palms and the soles of the feet. BCA also can destroy normal cells, which is why careful application is needed. A health professional applies BCA once a week
Immunotherapy, which triggers your immune system to destroy the virus causing the wart. Because some of the substances used for immunotherapy are expensive, dangerous, or require specialized handling, such treatment is considered only after other methods have failed. Immunotherapy options include contact sensitizers (such as dinitrochlorobenzene), imiquimod (Aldara), and interferon. Interferon is an experimental treatment and is used only for severe and treatment-resistant warts. Discuss the benefits and side effects of interferon treatment with your health professional.

I have the same thing. If you mess with them they spread. You need to see a Podiatrist and have them removed. Mine kept coming back and I was seeing a podiatrist for about 2 years.
My insurance did not pay for laser treatments. Laser is the best way of removing. good luck plantars wart hurt like hell.

The freeze off things don't work. What worked for me was using the gel (salicylic acid) that they sell. It's a few dollars for the generic brand. But, you have to put it on twice a day, religiously. And periodically, you have to pick off the dead layers of skin that die after you put the stuff on. I also wore bandaids over mine while the stuff was on, and I think that helped. That worked better for me than anything else I tried.
