No.........but one of my gerbils is going on his first outing tommorow. He is going to the hamster ball derby at Petco. I'm so excited! I had a hard time choosing which one of my two gerbils would be in the competition, so I basically chose the one that runs faster in his ball. Autumn(my gerbil) is actually in his ball right now practicing. Go Autumn!

Wish me good luck!=)

Occasionally we take one of our rats, usually our hooded girl, to the pet store or on short walks in the neighborhood.
Last Halloween I had our PEW brothers on my shoulders for part of the time while I was giving out treats-- the rats enjoyed the attention & we got every reaction imaginable, from 'Awww, cute' to 'omg, are those *rats*?!?' If the weather's nice this year, I'll probably do it again.
Usually, when we take a sick rat to the vet we bring another rat for moral support, it keeps the patient much calmer.
We don't take our mice places b/c they're more nervous & probably wouldn't enjoy it.

Well, yes. But, it depends on WHAT outing. Not on a trip unless the guinea pig is allowed and it is VERY tame!! They sell little guinea pig harnesses and leashes at pet stores so your guinea pig can have some freedom and time for outdoors. It really is a good idea to get your guinea pig outside. Well, as long as you make sure it isnt to hot and it isnt too cold because they could get very sick. Also, make sure that your guinea pig doesnt eat anything in the park or wherever you take it. Use common sense for your piggies sake!

I take my piggy, Cinnumin, with me to my Grandma's. She also likes to hop in a basket and go bike riding with me! (In fact I just did that on Monday) We also take her swimming in our backyard. I took her to my little sister's show and tell. I haven't officially taken her to any pet store, but that sounds like a cool idea. I'm going outside with her right now so I have to go. lol Good question!

YES!! I have six rats- and it's amazing where you can sneak a rat! They love it- I had one lady approach me and say "my what an interesting critter-what is it?" All the while petting my rat! I proudly said- "It's a pet rat!" Her face changed, she looked like she was going to be ill..and simply said- "That's so disgusting!!" I had to laugh- up until she knew it was a rat, it was the cutest thing ever!! :O)

I had one rat who was calm enough that she would ride my shoulder while I went to the pet store, but she was the only one of the several rats I've had that I would have done that with. She was exceptionally calm and enjoyed being with me - we nicknamed her "Rattus norvegicus lapfungus"...

I bought a harness for each of my rabbits and take them for walks. They love it! They get to eat all kinds of fresh grass. I have an albino rabbit who's blind and experimented taking him on bigger outings, and he seemed to enjoy them.

Brownie likes going places, so sometimes I take her. She goes on walks with me, on picnics, and all of that. My little guinea pig loves it.
