I'm thinking about a fish-fry with some ice cold cole slaw and a ice cold corona in a tub of ice!

To the person who is skeptical that the heatwave is attributed to global warming: The UV was at an all time high, I live in a Northern State, it is September... I just put 2 and 2 together.

I will have a last supper since the world is ending any moment now. Then in December and January, I'll have some Eskimo pies since it will be well over 100 degrees by then.

Anything frozen. You can even freeze grapes and Mars Bars. Watermelon. Fresh raspberries, slushy drinks with little paper umbrellas in them.. Ice cream. Key Lime Pie. Lemonade, Iced Tea, Mint Juleps, etc..

If you use cooling spices like lemon grass, mint, and coriander on fish or chicken, etc.. that helps cool things down.

I'm not sure. Not all heatwaves are attributed to global warming. There have always been heatwaves. How do you tell the difference?

BTW--Sounds good except for the Coronas.

You have to live for the situation

- - cook up a batch of spicy Queso (melted cheese with diced up jalapenos, tomato's, onions and garlic) and serve on top of a couple of dozen chicken and beef burritos. Invite your favorite crazy friends, play Latin music, DANCE and wash it all down with an endless supply of Corona.

Ole!!

During a heat wave, I have practically no appetite.
All I can think of is trying to cool off!
I drink cold lemonade and eat cold sandwiches, and I feel better.
If I eat or drink anything hot or with fat content, I feel even hotter and more uncomfortable.
Hopefully, things will be cooler soon!

Oh you had me at Corona! Yeah that all sounds really really good. What kind of fish? Cod?
Oh don't forget the lime for the Corona.
