I drink a Pepsi or Dr. Pepper every day and I really need to cut it out. I know it's unhealthy, but I probably won't quit until I find a good alternative. I hate Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi. That aspartame after-taste is just awful. I liked C2 but it disappeared. Can anyone suggest a diet or low calorie drink that actually tastes good?

Try Diet Rite. It comes in different flavors and is sweetened with Splenda, so it doesn't leave that aftertaste that other sodas do. It comes in cola and also different fruit flavors. The upside too is that it has no sodium, which other diet sodas are loaded in. That is what causes all the bloat you feel after drinking a diet soda.

Diet Sam's Cola is pretty good, you could also try Diet Mountain Dew or Diet Dr. Pepper. And remember you could add a different sugar substitute like Splenda.

Drink the flavored waters or buy the crystal light to go packets and use those. Diet soda only gives you a false sense of security about taking in less calories. If you drink diet soda you tend to feel it's ok to have another piece of this or that because you are not getting all those calories from regular soda.

a recent study showed that drinking more than one soft drink per day, diet included, can lead to heart disease. this is only one study and it has its caveats, but i have decided to lessen up on the sody pop and substitute more healthy drinks like grape juice and milk that have actually been shown to be good for your heart. FWIW though, sprite zero is the best tasting diet drink i have found yet.
