Im from michigan, and i moved to philadelphia recently to go to college.. in the summer i was on probation for a MIP of alcohol.. and at my court date the other day (i wasnt there) but the judge told my lawyer that he wanted me to get like a breathalyzer once a week, any day, and make a chart of days i went, ect. I called the local police department and they said they couldnt do it.. i dont know why, but yeah. Who do you think would do this for me?

If the local police won't, try the State Troopers.

You will probably need a copy of the court order that says you have to do it. Plus you will need your student ID card, showing why you are in PA and can't go home to get these tests.

If they refuse, [politely] get the name of the person that refused and contact your attorney. You have made 2 reasonable attempts to comply with the order.

It sounds like what you're describing is day reporting and the usual agency to do something like that is the probation department.

If they are requiring you to report daily, biweekly, whatever, they probably want you to go there, since probation is really the only department that is in touch with the judges on a daily basis.

These tests are usually done by the Probation Department. You could have a drug testing lab or hospital do them but it would be at your expense.

Contact your lawyer, he might know or be able to attain that information for you.
