I saw a black crown victoria pull up at my neighbors house and two law enforcement officers got out. One was wearing an all black uniform wearing a badge and one was all in light brown with a badge. I am suprised I can't fine the distinctions on-line that easily because it would seem they would want you to know who they were if they bothered to have uniforms at all. Our state police wear light blue shirts with dark blue pants. and our local police seem to wear black pants and white or grey shirts. Anyway, if anyone has an easy way to look this up, let me know! Thanks!

It may have been an out of state or out of county officer serving a fugitive warrant along with a County Sheriff or Constable.

Many departments have websites. On the site will often be pictures of officers and patrol cars. Maybe that will help.
