my boyfriend and i have been dating for around a year and a hlaf and recently i found out that he lied to me and he said he did coke 4 times and mushrooms 4 times...we were on a break/dating kinda thing so its complicated.. im not sure if i should forgive him or i should stop talking to him.. please help me

Honey, you need to consider a few things.
1. How you feel about drugs in general and using.
2. How your boyfriend truly feels about drugs and using.
3. How your boyfriend takes you telling him that you are against drugs.
4. You should monitor his behavior and get some drug and alcohol counceling if you are considering him for a long term marital partner. I was married to a guy who lied to me and was hooked on heroin, crack, took LSD and meth and the last time I tried to give him a place to stay, he was so sad, he almost burnt down my townhome apt! Set fire to Ramen Noodles, its a 3 min meal??? Couldnt stay alert for 3 mins to make it...so I put him back out on the street and cried for months afterward because I knew I had just sent him to hell...but sometimes you have gotta let people go to sink or swim. I have known and cared about other people with habits, and I am not saying you shouldnt help or care or marry the guy if he wants but TAKE YOUR TIME and do not feel guilty if your needs are totally clashing with his and you dont want to go there. You deserve to put yourself and your best intrests FIRST. These types of problems can only be fixed by the drug abuser. You dont have any control. So stick it out, see what he does, if he keeps breaking your heart then dont take it any farther. Good Luck Sweety.-Rachel.

Talk to him in private about it, that you found about the drugs.
Ask him to change or stop doing it.
If he doesn't, yes break up with him, just don't get involve

Make sure he really stopped and its not a new habit because the last thing you need to deal with is a drug addict boyfriend next thing you know he'll be guilting you into trying it with him
