Yes, you're in a high risk for dehydration and even death... anyways, if you're drinking other liquids rather than water then you are in high risk for kidney problems. <*-*>

It's important to drink some pure water. You can get water from other liquids you drink & from the water in the food you eat but your body has to work hard to access it.
Also, your kidneys will have to work harder w/o pure water. You can also develop kidney stones - a build up calcium, etc. These hurt a lot!
Try to drink enough water so your pee is pale or clear. Start by drinking a cup of water after you brush your teeth in the morning and a cup @ lunch. Try to drink a cup w/ dinner.
You'll want to pee more often as your body adjusts. As you consume more water, cut down on drinks w/ caffeine. Caffeine is a diuretic. Be patient.

Not drinking water is the worst thing in the world, because drinking water will decrease your chance of colon cancer by 45% meaning there's a 55% chance that you will have loose bowels. A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen or on a printed page. Not drinking water in the long term you could probably end up having acute kidney failure which is life threatening. h20 h20!!!!!!!

Depends on how much water you have in othr drinks.
I used to really struggle drinking a while ago so i found myself drinking LOADS of juice, at least you still get the water you need.
Try to drink a glass just before going to bed or when you first wake up in the morning!

Yes it is bad. You can get some water from beverages and fruits and vegetables but it usually isn't enough to sustain your body. If you aren't doing strenuous exercise or work then all you really need is 8 oz a day. Drink it when you are rinsing after brushing your teeth.

Its not necessarily bad, but you are missing out on so many benefits to it. Water helps your skin, your kidneys, your immune system, your weight (if you drink water regularly, you wont retain it) and so many other metabolic functions. Just be careful not to dehydrate. If you dont like plain water, try adding flavor to it with those packets, or with some fresh fruit.

In a word-yes. Although tea, coffee, and fruit juice contain water, they also contain sugar and caffeine, so they are not as beneficial. If you don't like plain water, try flavored water or Crystal Light. Try to get a few glasses in your system a day in addition to what you already drink.

I'm guilty as charged myself......I like tea and people have said it's not good enough -- although made out of water (I like beer too and I'm pretty sure there's some water in it too - ha ha) but I'm 49 years YOUNG (yes, young :) ) --- I haven't died yet. I think maybe I'd possibly be healthier if I did? I don't really know -- I don't seem to have any serious problems. I know if you are trying to lose weight it's a good idea because you'll fill your stomach up and eat less but........they say (yeah, those "they" people ha ha) you NEED it. I have my doubts personally but.....oh well.

Yes. Especially since the human body is made up of more than 95% Water. Many problems arise if the body is deprived of water.

most drinks do have some water in them, you're not going to keel over or anything, but yes, it is ideal to drink pure water several times a day, most of our body is made of water and it does function better if you drink things with lots of water in them or pure water, it's also detoxifying. but a lot of folks don't drink as much as they should. unless you're drinking nothing but cola or coffee, don't feel too bad ;-)
