I use both vinegar and baking soda when I had a skunk issue and my dog rubbed against the couch.
I soak it with vinegar and put baking soda on top. When vinegar dries, it won't smell vinegar.
it worked for the skunk smell.
Good luck!

I would open the windows and use a fan to blow air out of the room. Then blot the stain with paper towels to remove as much of it as possible.

You can make a mixture of baking soda and warm water if the stain is dry or, if the stain is moist, you can sprinkle baking soda directly on top. It should both neutralize smells and absorb the moisture.

I have heard that charcoal (in a container) can absorb odors. Another alternative is a box of baking soda or cat litter near the chair.

I like blowing the air outside with a fan.

Since baking soda is mild, you should be able to use nature's miracle on top of it later on. Some cleaners destroy the enzymes.

Hope that works.
