how about we give you thumbs down when we don't agree with what you have to say. Doesn't men that what you say is wrong or inaccurate or that what we agree with is accurate, it's like a 'clap if you agree'. And thumbs up says i agree, thumbs down says i disagree.
Here's a question for you. why do you ignore the obvious reason why people give you a thumbs down and seek out sinister reasons like we are jealous of you. How can someone be jealous of an internet character. Are you jealous of me? No because you don't even know me

Okay, I admit the woman in the pic is pretty, and some may be jealous, but if atheists answer, I bet Christians give thumbs down, and vice-versa; correct? Don't think it's really 'personal'. I give 'up' for 'good perspective!' and 'down' for 'whoa, way off base!'. But again, just my own opinion.

I give thumbs down and thumbs up if I agree or disagree. I don't report but I feel some sort of vindication with the thumbs.
Getting alot of thumbs down lets me know I did a good job.

I only give thumbs down to extremely ignorant answers, you know the ones where people tell you to you know what and die! If you answer a question to the best of your ability, you deserve a thumbs up or nothing at all. Thumbs down are just plain mean!

rofl........ I like it when people respond about it being *hateful* Christians that are doing the down thing...... rofl...... I get the down no matter what I say, and if people will notice, a lot of times the down goes to everyone who answered a certain question..... there are people who come here, do not answer, they just go through the questions, do the thumb thing, and poof they are gone...... I think most do it for fun. My best answers normally gets a thumbs down while my worst gets a thumbs up.

Yea....I dont understand...your answer can be good and informational but people will still put thumbs down...but not like it really matters...it doesn't take points away and they are just doing it to usually be mean....they might not agree with what you said but if you are trying to give a good answer and not be an A*S then I think you should get a THUMBS UP!
