Every time I shut down or even log off user I get the message "Ending Program ccApp" then, "this program is not responding" I was going to remove it from the start menu but I don't know what it relates to. Any ideas?

Yes YOu Have To Ways :

1- Go Start => Run
Type Msconfig
Go On Startup Tab
Find ccApp And Uncheck That . SO It's Not Starting At The First.

2- Go On Start => Search
Search The Name Of That And Then Delete The Path Of This Program.

Good Luck Dear

Look at the properties of the program and see where it is located. If it is not within the Windows or Windows/system32 directory, then it can be removed without preventing Windows from starting. (The directory that it IS in may give you a clue as to what program the file is part of it.)

Reboot the PC without it loading and see what happens. You can always put in back if you have problems.

ccApp is an important part of the protection that Norton AntiVirus or Norton Internet Security provides and should not be disabled at startup. It calls the different program features in these products and makes sure that those programs are running.

part of a firewall or anti virus, most likely norton. i have only seen this when a computer is really a 98 with xp installed over it. what you can do is try reinstalling norton or use another anti v/ firewall.
