The MiG-35 is very manueverable, but lacks in the avionics department. It can make all the tight turns it wants, but it's not going to get away from an AMRAAM that can pull over 50 g's. Don't forget that this fighter also isn't even in production yet. It is still well in the development stages. I personally don't think it will ever make production as I feel they just used the MiG-29 as a platform to test the new thrust vectoring system. I'm sure they will come out with something completely new in the future instead. I feel that the best PRODUCTION Russian fighter jet would have to be the SU-35.

*russkimuzhik:
1) Learn physics. Reducing acceleration to zero means you are moving at a constant velocity. Negative acceleration means you are slowing down. This, IN NO WAY, will make you disappear from the doppler radars of air-to-air missiles. What you're saying is that if I'm just cruising along at 400 knots without going any faster or slower, a missile won't be able to find me. Don't think so buddy.
2) MiGs cannot "overturn their engines" to become invisible to IR radar. The reason the B-2's engine exhaust is located on top of the aircraft (as opposed to directly on the tail) is so that IR radar will have some trouble picking it up, however it is not perfect. A MiG with engine exhausts situated on the tail (regardless of where the nozzles are pointing) will NOT be "invisible" to IR guided missiles whatsoever.
3) They have up-and-coming radar technology. No stealth aircraft is undetectable. No stealth aircraft is "invisible". But saying "MiGs have powerful radars" is assinine in and of itself. The latest version MiGs have powerful radars, but certainly not all MiGs. And no, they CANNOT detect every single stealth object.
4) Any type of stealth? There's only one type of stealth, by definition. You can either be easily seen, or not easily seen. That's it. The F-22 and B-2 have radar absorbant paint, "skin", and carbon fiber skeletons. Their nozzles are are designed and situated so that they are less visible to IR radar. The B-2's radar cross section is equal to that of a honey bee. The MiG-35 has been tested with an active stealth technology known as plasma stealth, however, all tests have shown that it essentially doesn't work.

Currently the Mig 35. It's vectored thrust engine gives it a decidable advantage over other jets in manueverability. But in simulated dogfights between the Mig-35 and the F-22, the F-22 came out on top in all but three of the twenty skirmishes.

I think the MIG-35 mentioned above is correct. Though there may be something they not telling us?
Here a link to a You-Tube Video as the MIG-35 "struts her stuff".

I should add. I think this the MIG-35.

Su-37 and it is still meat on the table for a F-22. I don't think any of you guys have any idea what even a flight of F-22's can do.

Any plane with controlled thrust vector: MiG-29OVT, MiG-35.
By reducing acceleration to zero or even negative values, you can disappear from Doppler radars of AAMs.
MiGs can quickly overturn their engines making them invisible to infra-red locators, too.

MiGs have powerful radars to detect any type of "stealth" objects.
